Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

Reclaim respects your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your data, you may do so at any time by deleting your account through the Reclaim mobile application. Deleting your account will permanently remove all personal data associated with your account from our systems.

How to Delete Your Account and Data

To delete your account and all associated data, follow these steps within the Reclaim app:

  1. Open the Reclaim app on your device.
  2. Navigate to your Profile tab.
  3. Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section.
  4. Tap "Delete Account."
  5. You will be asked to provide optional feedback. You may submit feedback or skip this step.
  6. On the confirmation screen, type "DELETE" in the text field to confirm your intent.
  7. Tap the "Delete Account" button to permanently delete your account.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

  • Your account profile information (name, email address, and any other personal details)
  • Item photos and listing data you have submitted
  • Inventory and analysis history
  • Connected marketplace account information (e.g., eBay connection details)
  • Notification preferences and app settings
  • Any other data associated with your account

Please note that once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone and your data cannot be recovered.

Timeframe for Deletion

Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation. Your data will be permanently removed from our active systems at the time of deletion. Residual copies in encrypted backups may persist for up to 30 days before being automatically purged.

If you are unable to access the app or encounter any issues deleting your account, please contact us and we will process your data deletion request manually.
