Selling guides · Single AirPod and Charging Case Value by Part

How much is one AirPod or its charging case worth?

Price a single AirPod against the same side and model number. A replacement retailer listed a left AirPods Pro 2 Lightning earbud for $44.99 and its refurbished charging case for $35.99 when checked November 4, 2026. These are retail asking prices. A private seller’s proceeds depend on comparable completed sales.

How do I check compatibility without a full set?

Read the small A-number under the surviving earbud. Check the model marking inside the case lid for a case-only sale. Ask the buyer to compare their existing part with Apple’s identification guide. Similar white shells can belong to different generations. Avoid promising compatibility from a photo of the shape alone.

How do I price a part with an unknown battery?

Look up completed sales using the A-number, side, and the word “only.” Separate tested parts from untested parts. Record the sale price and shipping for each. A retailer may offer returns, pairing help, or a warranty. Account for those differences when comparing its price with a private sale.

What should the listing title say?

For a tested left A2699, use “Apple AirPods Pro 2 A2699 left earbud only, tested.” List the tests you actually performed. If you could only inspect the contacts and shell, describe the part as untested. Say explicitly whether the buyer receives a case or another earbud.
