How much is a Nintendo Switch worth?

A gray Switch Lite was about $111, a standard Switch with gray Joy-Con about $135, and a white OLED set about $198. These are US loose-price benchmarks from PriceCharting, checked November 4, 2026. Your model and the parts you include determine which figure applies.

PriceCharting filters recognized broken and parts-only listings, but it does not verify each console’s tests. Its loose category includes missing packaging and unclear condition labels. These benchmarks do not specify a fixed accessory bundle. For standard and OLED consoles, check each sale for both Joy-Con, dock, charger, grip, straps, and working tests. For Lite, check the charger and working controls. Shipping and selling fees reduce your proceeds. PriceCharting methodology · PriceCharting model prices.

How can I identify my Switch model?

Read the code on the console itself. HAC-001 and HAC-001(-01) identify standard Switch revisions. HDH-001 identifies the Lite. HEG-001 identifies the OLED model. A replacement dock, box or controller can belong to a different system. Include a photo of the model code while covering the serial number. Compare a Switch 2 separately.

What should I test before selling?

Open System Settings and test both sticks under Controllers and Sensors. Check whether the indicator returns to center when you release the stick. Start a physical game, check that the console charges, then test the touchscreen along all four edges. On a standard or OLED unit, test TV output through the dock. The Lite supports handheld play and cannot send video to a TV.

How do I price a Switch without the dock?

Filter sold listings for the same model and included parts. A tablet with no controllers belongs in a different comparison from a console with two Joy-Con but no dock. Photograph the dock, power adapter, grip and straps together. Identify a replacement charger or third-party dock in the description.

Should physical games stay in the bundle?

Check each cartridge separately before including it. A stack of empty game cases adds little evidence of value. Show the label and confirm the game starts. A downloaded game belongs to an account, so leave it out of the list of transferable items.
