Selling guides · Graphic T-shirt resale value

How much is my graphic T-shirt worth?

Reclaim’s mixed sample of 155 used graphic tee listings had a median sold price of $17.94. The middle half sold for $13.49 to $25. The sample does not separate everyday reprints from original tour shirts or collectible prints. These pooled figures are not a starting price for your shirt. Find completed sales with the same artwork, tag, size, and condition.

What did similar shirts sell for?

A blue Grateful Dead tee with the dancing bears graphic, tagged XXL, sold for $17.94. That sale helps price a matching shirt. It tells you little about a shirt sold at a specific concert decades earlier, even if both show the same band.

Which print do you have?

Lay the shirt flat and photograph both sides. Transcribe the smallest visible lettering under the art. Include the tour name, venue, copyright line, artist signature, or manufacturer if present. Two shirts with the same front can have completely different backs. Tour dates on the back give you a much narrower search.

How do you price an older band or movie shirt?

Search the subject, graphic, tag brand, and back print together. Compare your photographs with completed sales. Check the neckline, sleeve hems, and print placement. A single row of stitching is one detail to photograph. It cannot establish the print date on its own. If the tag is missing, say so and leave the year open.

Which flaws change the comparison?

Measure the chest across the shirt below the armholes. Measure length from the shoulder to the hem. Show cracks in the ink, pinholes near the collar, cut sleeves, and marks under the arms. Use a side-lit photo when white ink is flaking. A collector deciding between two similar prints needs those details before deciding what to pay.

How should I choose a listing price?

Search completed sales for the closest print and size. Separate original tour merchandise from licensed reprints and handmade transfers. Compare shipping terms before choosing a starting price. If your only match is an unsold asking price, record that uncertainty and widen the search by size first.

How Reclaim checked these prices

Reclaim counted unique eBay US item IDs for pre-owned listings whose titles named a graphic tee or T-shirt. These USD prices came from sold comparisons collected August 1 through November 3, 2026. The sample covers several prints and sizes without separating everyday reprints, original tour merchandise, or collectible prints. It does not establish an individual shirt’s age, a price for any one group, or seller proceeds after fees.
